The main purpose of inductive teaching is to enhance the classroom learning environment by motivating the students to achieve the goals.
group 3-four phases.
1.open-ended phase-give examples/non examples of a concept/generalization, student observes and describes.Again give more examples, here student will compare the examples and non examples and they try to find similarities and differences.
2.convergent phase.-prompt students to identify patterens in the examples.
3.-closure.-give definition by explicitly stating the patterns in the examples.
4.application phase-application of definition with additional examples.
group 4-role of teacher.
overall all the teachers role is to act as facilitator.
group 5-merits and demerits.
Merits-in cooperate all question technique, classification and comparison, and motivate the student to ensure active interaction class room.
De merits-Time consuming, fluctuation for the students, and all the topic cannot be leached inductively.
